Founder and Principal, Jared Walkenhorst, is an experienced R&D leader with a long and proven track record of achievement at multiple levels within medical device organizations ranging from global international corporations to start-ups. He has spent over 25 years in research and development, all in the medical device industry, 20 years in the spine segment of the industry, researching and developing new products, including 10 years in management and executive positions. He has been a key innovator with corporations including: Zimmer, Biomet, Lanx, SpineWave, Surgical Dynamics, Cross Medical Products, CR Bard, and TriSalus Life Sciences developing spinal orthopaedic implants and instruments, oncological drug delivery systems, and tissue repair. He has numerous patents and publications that reflect his innovations in the field.
Jared founded Novare Medical Consulting when recognizing not only the need that many medical device manufacturers had, but also the opportunity to lend his expertise and experience to assist medical device companies in a more scalable way. By assembling a team of experienced cross-functional leaders within the company, he has cultivated a growing consulting enterprise that can act as a one-stop shop for most any Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, Product Development needs.
